National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant’s Summer Holiday float Competition 2025

By entering this competition, entrants accept and agree to the terms and conditions as follows:

  • The promoter for this competition is Caravan Industries Association of South Australia, trading as Caravan and Camping SA, 65 Goodwood Road, Wayville South Australia 5034.
  • The promotional period commences at 10.00am on Tuesday 9th September 2025 and closes at 3.00pm on Thursday 11th September 2025 (all times quoted refer to AEDT).
  • Each person is limited to one standard entry in the competition.
  • To enter, entrants must complete the entry form providing full name, valid email, valid phone number, and suburb of residence.
  • Entrants’ personal information will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. Entrants accept that their details will be stored on the promotional database/s of Caravan and Camping SA and the South Australian Tourism Commission for use by each organisation in promoting their activities until such time that the entrant opts out of such correspondence. The databases of Caravan and Camping SA and the South Australian Tourism Commission are separately owned and as such the option to opt out will be provided for each database separately.
  • The winner will receive two spots on the Caravan & Camping SA Summer Holiday float in the 2025 National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant, held in Adelaide on Saturday, 8 November 2025. The prize is valid for one (1) adult and one (1) child participant, as children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Open to South Australian residents only, entrant must be 18 years of age or over.
  • One winner will be randomly selected by Caravan and Camping SA (the principal sponsor of the Summer Holiday Pageant Float) through https://www.randomdraws.com/au/.
  • Caravan and Camping SA will contact the winning entrant via phone by 12 September 2025. The entrant must verbally confirm acceptance of the prize within this timeframe. In the event that the winner has not confirmed acceptance of the prize by the 10 September 2025, Caravan and Camping SA reserves the right to randomly select a new winner each day until a winning entry is confirmed. There is no requirement for Caravan and Camping SA to provide contacted entrants with the prize if the contacted entrant was unavailable to take the phone call and did not reply to Caravan and Camping SA within the specified timeframe. Following their verbal acceptance, the winning entrant will receive written notification via email confirming the prize allocation.
  • The two pageant participants must be confirmed to Caravan and Camping SA by the winning entrant a minimum of two weeks prior to the first scheduled costume fitting.  Once confirmed, participants cannot be changed without the express permission of Caravan and Camping SA. It is the responsibility of the winning entrant to immediately notify Caravan and Camping SA if any or all participants can no longer participate. At their discretion, Caravan and Camping SA will fill any vacant participant positions. In such cases, the winning entrant will forfeit any ongoing right to the positions. 
  • The two pageant participants must be prepared to attend an induction, costume fitting(s) and rehearsal(s) as directed by the Pageant Staff (appointed by the South Australian Government as owner of the pageant) or Caravan and Camping SA.
  • The pageant participants will be provided with a themed costume to wear for the event. Costumes remain the property of the Pageant. Participants will not be subject to any hire fees or fitting cost, however charges may apply should the costume be lost or damaged.
  • Caravan and Camping SA will appoint a Float Captain responsible for participant conduct and safety during the pageant. Participants must comply with all reasonable instructions from the Float Captain and the Pageant Staff.
  • These terms and conditions are limited to the competition entry and do not influence or constitute the terms and conditions imposed by the Pageant organiser.
