This year we have lots of fun activities to keep the kids entertained and this year for the first time they have their own Hand-On Workshop, and learn to put up a tent, thanks to Anaconda.
You can Book them into the workshop here:
Kids Camping Trail
There's also the Kids Camping Trail - pick up a map and swing tag at the Destination SA stand in the Duncan Pavilion, and get stickers at different checkpoints around the Showground.
When your sticker sheet is full, head back to the Destination SA stand, fill in the entry form, and you could win an amazing Caravan Lego set - there are 6 to win!
Slackline Australia will be at the Show this year - now this is a fun and challenging activity for kids and adults alike!
Slacklining is similar, at first glance to tightrope walking, and is accomplished by stretching and tensioning a 1”– 2” wide length of nylon/polyester webbing between two anchor points, most often trees. Its origin has most commonly been attributed to the rock climbing community in Yosemite National Park as a way of passing time while maintaining concentration, fitness, core strength and balance skills.
We'll have some novice slacklines for you and the kids to try - come and check it out at the Hamilton Boulevard.
