Back in 2011 owner-operators Mike & Anita Pavey spent 13 months travelling around Australia, racking up thousands of dusty kilometres to work through their outback bucket list. Beyond the Big Lap they’ve travelled extensively with off road campers and shared their experiences through print media and online portals as paid contributors.

During our Big Lap, we worked as freelance contributors for some of Australia’s leading 4×4, caravan & camping magazines, encouraging others to get out and discover Australia’s amazing outback destinations and be properly prepared. The trip identified an opportunity to provide sound advice and quality campers designed for comfortable remote off-road touring. And so our business was born! Since then, over almost 7 years, we’ve progressively added a larger range of premium Australian campers and camping gear.

The Dirt Off Road Campers specialise in Australian-made hard floor campers, hybrid caravans, and off-road caravans; located in Mount Barker, South Australia. The products and services we offer include Track Trailer, Lifestyle Campers, Kimberley Kampers, camping accessories, and full workshop servicing. We stock popular models such as the Iconn E2, Reconn, Tvan, T4, Platinum Kamper, Karavan, and Kruiser. Although we’re located in Mount Barker, we service clients from across Adelaide and South Australia. We have Adelaide’s largest range of Australian-made off road campers under the one roof.
